Our History

Healing Spirit Health Care, LLC, was founded  in December of 2002, by Ila Mae BSN-RN, LNC.  

Ila received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing Science, from Husson College in Bangor, Maine, in 1991, and completed the Legal Nurse Consultant studies from Kennebec Valley, in 2005. She is currently a State of Maine approved instructor for the Certified Nurse Assistant Program (CNA), the Personal Support Specialist (PSS), and the Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) courses.


Ila's seventeen years of nursing experiences in Home Health and Hospice, have given her a true sense of the many needs others have, most particularly when trying to remain independent within their own homes/environments.  Her hope is to share her knowledge with others and offer professional educational trainings which will assist both the caregivers in broadening their education and finding employment, as well as providing services to the elderly and disabled individuals needing personal care services.

Healing Spirit Health Care, LLC is dedicated to the population that it serves. Our mission is to provide direct care services to those in need throughout the State of Maine. We will continue to offer educational opportunities to the public and personal care providers,  striving to make our clients time of need both safe, helpful and enjoyable.
